01 · 生香之树 · DECADES IN THE WILD
Our agarwood grows wild on southern slopes, decades under sun and monsoon. Nothing is planted in rows; each tree writes its own grain in its own time.

The Wound Becomes Fragrance
02 · 结香 · WHERE RESIN IS BORN
When the trunk is injured, the tree answers with resin — dark, fragrant veins laid down year after year. The deeper the wound heals, the richer the scent becomes.

The Harvest
03 · 采香 · TAKEN ONLY WHEN READY
Harvest is patient work — only trees that have matured and resin-saturated are taken, and every cut section is read like a map: rings, oil lines, and colour tell the truth.

Reading the Grain
04 · 识纹 · FIBRE BY FIBRE
Back at the bench, we split and study the raw wood. Loose fibre means fragrance has left; dense, oily fibre means it stayed. Only the latter is kept.

The Essence
05 · 香材 · A STONE THAT SMELLS OF FOREST
What remains is heavy, dark and quiet — a piece of agarwood that sinks in water and smells of rain forest after storms. This is the heart our beads are carved from.

The Selection
06 · 鉴选 · ONLY ONE IN TEN
Finally, the pieces are weighed, smelled and graded by hand. Fewer than one in ten passes. Those that do become EastPi — the rest are returned to the drawer, honestly.

It Sinks
True agarwood is denser than water — 沉香, literally “sinking fragrance”. Weight is our first honest test.
It Breathes
Its scent is never loud: cool resin, old wood, rain. Worn against the skin, it releases slowly through the day.
It Remembers
Every oil vein is a year of the tree’s life. No two pieces share the same pattern — yours is unrepeatable.
